The management team of The PicklePort has recently undertaken an extensive review of current market conditions within the pickleball industry. That review included discussions with highly respected facility owners and operators across the country, an analysis of recent operating performance metrics and industry transactions, and a review of current valuation data for comparable facilities.

Based upon this comprehensive assessment, we concluded that market conditions have changed materially since our original business plan was developed. Current industry valuations, operating performance, and capital market trends have altered the project's projected risk-adjusted return to a level that no longer meets the investment objectives of our company and its investors.

After careful deliberation with our Advisory Board, we have therefore made the difficult decision to pause development of the PicklePort project at the Whispering Pines site while we evaluate alternative approaches and locations that may better align with today's market environment.

Looking ahead, we remain enthusiastic about opportunities to develop a premier pickleball facility in Myrtle Beach should an alternative site or development structure present a more favorable economic profile. If other potential locations, existing facilities, or partnership opportunities arise. we will undertake further investigation of those options as warranted.
